The phenomenon of the factorial influence of various kinds of interference processes on the formation of plastic features of figurative painting texts is revealed. The material is studied within the framework of an interdisciplinary cultural approach, including components of natural science and humanities. The factual basis of the study identified specific artifacts from the field of fine arts. Scientific novelty is associated with the explication (deployment) of the concept interference in the field of visual creativity - painting - based on the analogue integration of physical, psychological, linguistic and cultural knowledge about a given concept/object. For the first time in theory, a consideration of pictorial figurative structures as interfering objects under conditions of factor influence is proposed. At the same time, interference in painting is analyzed analytically in the aspects of structural-plastic and individual-style phenomena. Such types of implementation of interference in painting are defined as perceptual-modeling interference and bilingual stylistic interference.
