The purpose of this research is to study the influence of self-management as a personal resource in helping prevent negative conditions to those involved in the field of sports. This survey includes 43 professionals in the field of athletics; 20 young professionals and 23 professionals with experience. It was discovered that young professionals in the field of athletics go through more psycho-emotional overload than the more experienced professionals due to insufficiently developed self-management. These young professionals suffer from self-criticism, lack of self-esteem, lack of personal self-development, and lack of self-organization.
