In order to study the psychological status of elderly patients, 31 patients were examined with a diagnosis of lichen planus that made up the main group and 30 people diagnosed with chronic generalized parodontids. All patients underwent a psychological examination, which included a clinical conversation, methods of personality research, tests. As part of the study, the relationship between the psychological status of patients with oral diseases and the specific features of the personality of patients with lichen planus was established.
