The experiment to measure speed and force settings was carried out for electrical steel strip cold rolling in industrial conditions. Calculation of rolling energy-power parameters was made for the same processing conditions. Consideration of metal strain-rate hardening effect and friction coefficient variation with different rolls rotating velocity was the distinctive feature of the calculation. Comparison of mathematical modeling results with industrial data showed that generated mathematical model ensures reliability and high accuracy in defining rolling energy-power parameters for different speed settings.
