The article presents the results of a survey of love addicts, participants of the recovery program "12 Steps". A total of 47 women aged 26 to 42 years took part in the survey. The aim of the study was to identify the correlation between the degree of love addiction and the level of subjective quality of life, as well as to determine the dominant value orientations of love addicts. The interpretation of the results of the study is preceded by a brief overview of the problem of love addiction, some criteria for comparing love addiction and chemical dependence are given. We also covered the topic of subjective quality of life and its relationship with the value-need sphere of a person. The result of the study showed a negative correlation between the degree of severity of love addiction and the subjective quality of life / satisfaction of the addict. We also identified a specific distribution of dominant value orientations. We have revealed a positive correlation between the degree of severity of love addiction and such terminal values as "love", "happy family life" and "financially secure life". We also found a negative correlation between the degree of severity of love addiction and such terminal values as "active, active/productive life". Correction of value orientations during psychotherapy and/or coaching can be the key to reducing the level of love addiction and to improving the subjective quality of life.
