The various grades of industrial alloyed steels have been studied. A dilatometric analysis of the austenite transformation during continuous cooling was performed and corresponding CCT diagrams were obtained for the cooling rates 0,1…30 °C/s. The influence of the content of alloying elements on the hardenability and microstructure formation during heat treatment is shown. The statistical analysis of the obtained data provided the dependencies relating the chemical composition of steels to their characteristics: the temperature of the start of the bainite and martensite transformation and the degree hardenability.
