FIELD: biochemistry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of extracting scandium from the productive solutions formed during the processing of uranium ores, when extracted by the method of underground leaching. Preparation of a scandium concentrate from a scandium-containing solution is carried out by sorption of scandium from a scandium-containing solution on a phosphorus-containing ion exchanger, washing of saturated phosphorus-containing ion exchanger, desorption of scandium from saturated phosphorus-containing ion exchanger with sodium carbonate solution to obtain desorbed phosphorus-containing ion exchanger, which is directed to re-sorption of scandium and a desorption solution from which scandium concentrate is obtained by thermal hydrolysis. Washing is carried out with a solution containing 5–100 g/dm3 ammonium sulfate (NH4)2SO4 and 100–200 g/dm3 CAS carbon ammonium salt. EFFECT: method makes it possible to obtain a more pure scandium concentrate.
