The paper considers increasing the sensitivity of low resistance (metal) magnetic field sensors due to connection to the high frequency resonant circuit. Various schemes of resonant circuits are presented that allow increasing the sensitivity of metal magnetoimpedance sensor at a frequency of 75 MHz. The best results are obtained for the Q-multiplied circuit, which gives an increase in the sensor gain from the magnetic field from 31 %/Oe to 132 %/Oe when narrowing the bandwidth to 2.5 MHz. This results in an order of magnitude increase in the signal-to-noise ratio. This approach, using quadrature demodulation of the signal, makes it possible to distinguish between signals of an alternating magnetic field with an amplitude of 1 nT at a signal-to-noise ratio of 10 dB. The proposed method can be applied to magneto-impedance, magnetoresistive magnetic field sensors, as well as to metal strain gauges during highly sensitive measurements.
