Text-forming function of metaphor is analyzed in this article based on the theory of actual division and the theory of the image-scheme. It has been identified that the Theme–Rheme structures of several models of texts correlate with different imageschemes: image-scheme chains, the container, the centrifugal, the parallel and the complex; It is approved in this article, that the interaction of the Theme–Rheme structures of the text with a metaphorical way of displaying the elements of the article' content.
