A classifier of the measures and projects for energy saving is described, which makes it possible to meet the initial prerequisites. A method of determining the importance factor or priority of implementing measures aimed at saving fuel and energy resources is presented. The proposed methodological basis for making a rational decision on the implementation of measures and energy saving projects gives ground to power engineering companies for their substantiation proceeding from an objective analytical process.
