This study allows you to determine the periods in which an increase in the construction of high-rise buildings could be expected. This can be useful for investors interested in the high-rise office space market, global corporations looking for suitable buildings for their offshore headquarters, or for potential developers of this type of housing investment. It is worth bearing in mind that dependencies observed on the basis of data from 1961-2020 do not necessarily repeat in the future. The most significant limitation of the study is also the relatively low availability of observations of the Gini coefficient, which could affect the results of the analysis. In addition, some of the considered countries are characterized by a relatively small number of skyscrapers (especially those built in the periods 1960-1970 and 1980-1990), which is also important.
