The article dwells upon the theoretical aspects of state support of agro-industrial complex and necessity to support agriculture. Subsidizing poses some risks that should be anticipated and estimated when financial assistance to agricultural sector is provided from the budget. The paper focuses on the problems of forecasting the risks of bankruptcy of the agro-industrial enterprises when they are state-supported. Proposals relating to the risks forecasting in this sector are brought forward.
