This work is devoted to rebuilding of the Ural non-ferrous metallurgy in 1990–2000-s, when there is no longer a planned economy, the integrated industrial and metallurgical complex. The enterprises which are rivals in socialist competition now are rivals and competitors in the business, often separated by state and customs borders. It considers the results of the enterprises of Russia’s largest corporations for the production of copper.
