Mytheme as element of transformational mechanics of myth constitutes sufficient foundation for existence of modern mythology. Comparative analysis of modern mythology and utopian thinking demonstrates mythemes as structural units of myth as well as utopia. As a result, political myth becomes a mean to achieve political utopia.
