FIELD: metallurgy, namely needle for extruding metallic hollow blanks.
SUBSTANCE: needle is in the form of cylindrical rod with working and supporting ends having diameter variable along its length and lengthwise non-through cavity arranged at side of working end. Mouthpiece is mounted in said cavity. Cylindrical insert is arranged at lateral gap inside said lengthwise cavity and it rests by its one end upon mouthpiece and by its other end - upon bottom of cavity. Cylindrical insert is made material whose heat expansion coefficient exceeds that of rod material by 10 - 300%, possibly insert may be made of austenite steel.
