Some aspects of the development of the actual branch of modern combinatorial design-modeling of structures with the densest spatial arrangement of the same type of multifaceted modules are outlined. The main problems and prospects of the direction in the context of solving urgent problems of practical design have been determined. The basic morphological principle of modeling the densest multimodular structures is formulated, the main patentable solutions of multifaceted modules of the densest filling of the space of a wide typological nomenclature are shown.
