The term electronic publication (EP) is considered well-known, wide-used by specialists and everymen, while the definition seems undeveloped, undefined both in the field of electronic technologies and in the linguistic environment; is notable for incompleteness, diverseness, multimeaningness.The question of differentiation of the concepts of electronic publication and electronic resource is solved in the article, as well as a more complete, from author’s point of view, version of EP definition is suggested.
