The author considers some materials of an archaeological excavation in the port of Byzantine period Chersonesos, used to reconstruct the Chersonites’ everyday activities, and reports of the results of some research and attribution work carried out to date a find, i. e. a small steatite icon with a scene of Annunciation in it.
