The article analyzes the characteristics of offshore zones, due to which these territories are attractive for business. The analysis of scientific literature and statistical data revealed that the measures taken within the framework of deoffshorization have a positive impact on the national economy of the country. As a result of considering the recommendations of Western countries on the deoffshorization process, it was concluded that a radical change in the geopolitical situation allowed Russia to implement more effective deoffshorization measures and strengthen the national economy.
