The article is devoted to the study of folk motifs stamped on the memory of several genera-tions of the Shaburov-Shamovs. The material has been collected in Gary village, Sverdlovsk region. The main interest of the experiment is imlied in the fact that the research is based on the usage of method of participant observation, during which researcher is the carrier of both scientific and folk type of consciousness.
