The article focuses on the evolution of social communication. Dynamics of political and economic structuring of human interaction is described. Types of community organization are distinguished according to the forms of governing social time. Evolutionary patterns of these types are traced in history. The author provides an interpretation of institutional organization of communities as self-organizing systems, and describes how these systems activate and suppress their communicative properties. The author points out that all types of social relations are fundamentally united as communication and are differentiated by the certain composition of relations. New definitions are given to notions of power and capital as means of social organization.
