In the article it is attempted to study trends in the development of services in the light of globalization of economic processes. Based on the approaches of economic analysis of development of relations in the sphere of services and priorities of the world centers of scientific and technological development, the author proves: legal problems of regulation of relations on the provision of services in the international economic turnover (primarily - «knowledgeintensive » services); forecast scenarios for the legal regulation of relations identified in codified civil sources (trade) law of foreign countries and Russia; perspective and priority directions of scientific research.
