Variants of propulsion systems for small-sized vehicles are considered; their advantages and disadvantages are noted. The modernize the all-terrain vehicle, a mover with motor wheels was taken, which has a small weigth and the least complexity of the design. The low weight of the motor wheels will significantly reduce the influence of dynamic loads on the elements of the propellers, which,in turn will significantly increase the life of the propeller. The absence of complex mechanisms in the design (transfer case, cardan gears and other rapidly wearing components) increases reliability and increases the durability of the all-terrain vehicle.
