Within the framework of this article, an urgent issue is considered on the formation of long-term savings of individuals using various financial instruments in order to increase potential profitability. The options for placing the released resources of citizens have always been limited by banking offers, the stock market and investment facilities. For the majority of citizens, banking products remained the most attractive, due to minimizing negative consequences and reduced risks. The introduction of investment accounts entailed an assessment of new opportunities for obtaining capitalized income. These investment formats were focused on meeting the financial needs of depositors and financial and credit institutions at the same time. The subject of the study is the various variants of products in which funds are placed. The purpose of the work is to analyze the existing opportunities for individuals in the issue of long-term capital accumulation and identify priority financial products that meet these goals. The research uses methods of statistical and bibliometric analysis, deduction and the method of analogies. The result of the study is the identification by the authors of positive dynamics in the expression of interest by individuals with various financial products with long-term investment goals, including an individual investment account. The scope of application is the possibility of developing proposals from financial organizations for individual investment accounts for individuals as a long-term investment tool. The conclusion of this article is the practical application of an individual investment account by an individual within the framework of long-term savings in order to obtain a yield significantly higher than for other options for placing funds.
