The description of a numerical procedure for simulation of induction heating of large-size objects is presented. A combined computation of the electromagnetic and thermal fields by the method of finite elements in a three-dimensional statement has been carried out. A setup of a computational grid is described and the results of the numerical calculation are demonstrated. The simplification possibility of computational geometry was analyzed and estimation of its effect on computation speed and simulation results was carried out.
