As it known, demographic indicators have a certain impact on the economic development of the state. The search for ways to extend the life span has always been an urgent problem of mankind. The purpose of the study is to show which factors are significant in influencing life expectancy and to express this influence quantitatively. A review of the literature on the topic is given, explanatory variables are empirically determined, a linear regression model is made using the OLS method. As a result, both factors that have an impact on life expectancy and those that do not have any influence were identified. Recommendations are given for increasing life expectancy or reducing the negative impact on it.
