The paper presents formulas for the separation potential and for the separative power, which have been obtained for multicomponent mixture. It has been accomplished without consideration of a certain cascade scheme via generalization of the classical Dirac’s theory with satisfaction of both his axioms. The applicability to any separation methods and independence on the mixture component type allow us to consider the obtained expressions as general attributes of separating process.
