The author focuses on the concept of social chronotop and its role in development of modern social theory and humanities. The article demonstrates how this concept operates in various forms of modern social methodology and in new approaches to social ontology. The author defines social chronotop as an interdependence of four elements: social space and social time, human activity and social dynamics. The author concludes that the concept of social chronotop engenders significant shifts within methodology of modern social theory.
