The collective scientific work includes research by renowned Russian and foreign scholars presented as reports at plenary sessions of the Ist International Conference “Language of Culture and Culture of Language” conducted by the literary and linguistic research laboratory at the Surgut State Pedagogical University in November 2022. The monograph examines a wide range of issues related to the influence and interaction of language and culture in representational, diachronic and synchronic, educational, and communicative perspectives, including such aspects as meaning creation, cultural memory formation, and national identity construction. Language is presented as a unique cultural monument and a complex system, a specific code of an epoch. The problems of enhancing communicative competence, specific educational practices aimed at preserving ethical and aesthetic values in modern society are analyzed.
