Mobilization of «silver» education resources is considered as one of the important problems of the social community of the «third age» people, the solution of which largely depends on its successful functioning and development. The article gives an interpretation of the main concepts -the social community of «third age» people, «silver» education and the mobilization of its resources. The mobilization of «silver» education resources is revealed through the prism of its predictors and factors, as well as directions and mechanisms. The paper is based on the data of a representative empirical study conducted in 2019-2020 in the Sverdlovsk region, and is a theoretical generalization of its results.
