The explication of the works of M. Foucault inevitably associate his name with the concept of discourse as some radical means of understanding reality. Discourse is the temptation of the researcher. Any researcher, according to M. Foucault, seeks to escape from discursive predestination, using the power of discourse to control reality, but not by itself. The article discusses the essence of the concept of discourse and the technology of its use. The individual, having constituted his identity, wants to autonomize subjectivity, tries to go beyond the limits of discursiveness, to become the one who defines and governs the discourse. In this case, he or she is doomed to defeat, since it is only in discourse that his otherness can form. In fact, the Authority through Discourse imposes a verdict on everyone - to be defined in concepts and practices. This is how the discourse body is created. A person becomes involved in discursive practices, sometimes unaware of this fact, since the discourse, by its nature, multiplies in quasi-discourses and constantly disguises itself, creating various lures and simulacra. The individual falls into the trap of his own de-individualized desire. The practice of resistance and escape is feasible when the subject refuses to obey the requirements of the Authority, creating his own discursive fields.
