FIELD: land reclamation. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rehabilitation of radioactively contaminated soils in order to reduce migration of radionuclides in radioactively contaminated areas, as well as introduction of radioactively contaminated soils into agricultural use and obtaining clean agricultural products. The method makes it possible to immobilize radionuclides in an environmentally friendly sorbent, reduce migration of caesium, strontium, cobalt, uranium, plutonium radionuclides with groundwater, and reduce transfer of caesium and strontium radionuclides into agricultural plants. A method for rehabilitating radioactively contaminated soils involves adding a sorbent to the soil, in which nickel-potassium ferrocyanide based on quartz-glauconite concentrate or nickel-potassium ferrocyanide based on clinoptilolite with a fractional composition of 0.2-0.4 mm are added at the amount of 3 wt.% of the amount of soil to be rehabilitated or 1 kg/m2. The sorbent is applied during ploughing and left in the soil. Once, after planting, KCl is added during watering at a concentration of 0.7 g/L. EFFECT: improved efficiency of soil rehabilitation while reducing sorbent consumption, extraction of a wider range of radionuclides (caesium, strontium, cobalt, uranium, plutonium) through the use of complex sorbents, reduction of transfer of caesium and strontium radionuclides from soil to agricultural plants, immobilization of radionuclides in the sorbent and reduction of their reverse desorption, no need to remove the sorbent from the soil and to dispose of it as a radioactive waste, which simplifies the rehabilitation process. 1 cl, 6 dwg, 3 tbl, 5 ex.
