A range of water management problems, which traditionally exists in enterprises of mining and smelting with chemical and metal-working profiles occupied with complex processing of polymetallic raw materials and various productions, is considered. A differentiated approach to clean particularly aggressive wastewaters is suggested: a local stand-alone principle to clean up toxic substances first of all from the most dangerous sections of processing lines, wherefrom these wastes come. The local principle allows decreasing an ecological load on the wastes of the whole enterprise cleaning as well as making a construction of local treatment facilities economically more expedient along with cleaning of all enterprise wastes. These facilities are reasonably inexpensive in comparison with a construction of isolated zero-waste water consumption systems. A number of techniques to process precipitations derived at waste treatment and possible ways to utilize these precipitations, which is quite a problem, are analyzed. Methods to deactivate nuclear wastes are considered. The monograph may be useful for scientists, engineers of research, design and starting-up and adjustment manufacturing organizations of industrial water supply and water consumption. The study is recommended to professional and teaching staff as well as to students and postgraduate students of the corresponded fields and other o ganizations of industry.
