One of the key conditions of effective application of ion-exchange resin is ensuring of full materials regeneration producing concentrated elutes. The results of desorption investigations of IDA-resin Lewatit TP 207 by hydrochloric and sulphuric acids are presented in article. It was established that under the conditions of ion-exchanger saturation until breakthrough the ions of calcium, cover significant part of capacity and during the regeneration process desorb primarily. It was revealed that the most effective eluent of zinc desorption is 15 % sulphuric acid: desorption degree – 99,4 %, the average concentration in industrial reclaim – 20-22 g per dm3.
