FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to compositions of ferrite corrosion resistant steels used in machine building for products that shall ensure high hardness and corrosion resistance with sufficient plasticity. Steel contains carbon, chromium, nickel, titanium, molybdenum, aluminium, cerium, yttrium and iron at following ratio of components, wt %: carbon - up to 0.03, chromium - 12-18, nickel - 5-10, molybdenum - 0.8-3.0, titanium below 0.20, aluminium - 1.0-2.5, cerium below 0.02, yttrium ≤ 0.002, iron making the rest.
EFFECT: increased strength of steel.
