FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly, to plastic deformation of metal structure. Proposed method comprises multi-pass drawing of cut-to-length tube billet via drawing die orifice and mandrelling tube inner space. In first pass, said cut-to-length tube billet is drawn to make first-pass tube with OD making 97-100% of initial biller ID. Produced first-pass tube is placed inside initial cut-to-length tube billet for drawing to second-pass tube with crosswise sizes of first-pass tube. Produced second-pass tube is placed inside cut-to-length initial tube billet to repeat the cycle.
EFFECT: improved plastic strain.
