Luminescent silver halide light guide contains silver halide ceramics of the composition AgCl<sub>0.2</sub>Br<sub>0.8</sub>, alloyed with oxides of rare earth elements, with the following ratio of ingredients, % wt.: AgCl<sub>0.2</sub>Br<sub>0.8</sub> 97.0 to 99.0; oxide of a rare earth element 3.0 to 1.0.
