Supervisor’s research interests:

  • Surface electrochemistry of hydrated nanoporous and nanostructured materials
  • EPR spectroscopy of transition metal ions complexes and nitroxides as spin probes and labels in solid-state objects
  • Sorption and catalytic studies of ion-exchange resins, cellulose – inorganic hydrogels composites and nanoporous oxides of Al, Ti, Zr, Si in different processes
  • Homogenous and heterogeneous enzymatic catalysis
  • Food Chemistry of biologically active substances and Biotechnology
  • Foods enriched with biologically active substances.

  • International research group (8 Ph.D students and 4 Master students from Russia, Nigeria, Ghana, Egypt and India), 2 Research Engineers;
  • Master’s Exchange Programs Involvement as a supervisor of Master’s Theses (Recent Experience with supervision the Diploma thesis of the exchange student from Martin Luther University, Halle, Germany, 2018-2019);

 Supervisor’s specific requirements to prospective PhD students:

  • Field of study: 18.06.01 Chemical Technology
  • Strong motivation and creativity, soft skills;
  • Basic knowledge in inorganic, physical chemistry, homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysis including enzymatic catalysis/ food chemistry, biotechnology, food technology; any knowledge and skills in biomedicine, computer modelling and neuronets are highly desired
  • Good experimental chemical/biotechnological skills.
