Supervisor’s research  interests:

  • Chemical processes in pre-stellar cores,

  • Astrochemistry,

  • Molecular clouds,
  • Prestellar cores,
  • Deuterium fractionation,
  • Complex organic molecules,
  • Water at different stages of star-formation.

The PhD students will work in the scope of research projects of our laboratory and have a competitive salary. The PhD students will work with the observational data from the world-class telescopes in sub-mm range, IRAM 30 m and ALMA. The PhD students will be able to collaborate with our colleagues abroad, first of all with the Centre for astrochemical studies led by Prof. Paola Caselli in the Max Planck Institute for extraterrestrial Physics, and take part in international conferences.

Supervisor’s specific requirements to prospective PhD students:

  • English language (reading, writing, speaking);
  • Express your thoughts in writing logically, concise and clear;
  • Master or equivalent degree in Natural sciences or Math;
  • Programming skills, knowledges in Astronomy and Astrophysics are preferable.
