"From August 27 to August 30, 2017, the Ural Federal University hosts an international conference ""Scanning Probe Microscopy 2017"" (SPM-2017) on the basis of the Ural Center for Shared Use ""Modern Nanotechnologies"" of the Institute of Natural Sciences and Mathematics of the UrFU.
The conference will be devoted to a wide range of issues related to the current state and prospects for the development of various methods of Scanning Probe Microscopy (SPM) in various fields of science. The conference will be the first in a series of annual conferences held in different cities of Russia.
The following sections are planned:
1. SPM in materials science.
2. New methods of SPM.
3. SPM in biology and medicine.
4. Analytical methods of SPM and probe lithography.
5. Processing of SPM data and scanning piezo-response microscopy
6. Ferroics.
