Development of physicochemical principles of processes of deep separation of fissile materials and fission products in the technologies of on-site spent nitride nuclear fuel reprocessing
The physicochemical behavior of rare elements (such as uranium, zirconium, and niobium) in halide melts is studied, which will provide more reliable and consistent information about the valence state and coordination properties of these elements, the thermodynamics of their compounds in molten mixtures of halide salts.
